Job Description

• Performing diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
• Scheduling and coordinating tests, recording test results, and preparing and maintaining operational logs.
• Calibrating and maintaining equipment and ordering supplies when needed.
• Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.

Requirements

• Requires a two (2) year allied health degree.
• Must be licensed in the state of Florida.
• Successful completion of an approved one (1) year program in Ultrasound Technology.
• Must have registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Two (2) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is also required.
