Job Description

• Serving individuals in their private homes is an honor and pleasure. You will have the ability to connect with older adults one-on-one, embracing a person-centered approach, treating every individual with unwavering dignity.
• Assisting seniors with daily personal needs such as meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, transportation, companionship, medication reminders, and personal cares.
• Bringing smiles to the faces of those you serve.

Requirements

• Active Illinois CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license preferred to transport client using client car.
• Past experience in caregiving with older adults and seniors required.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to fully transfer assist residents.

Schedule Overview

Schedule varies: 12-hour shifts, overnight shifts, and live-in shifts available. Please note, this position is on call and based in a client's private residence in NW Suburbs surrounding Luther Home in Arlington Heights.
