    Job Description:

    • Responsible for the overall planning, development, organization, and progressive direction of the nursing services department
    • Ensure the highest degree of quality nursing care is administered to all residents with respect and continuous recognition of their rights
    • Oversee nursing administration, resident medical care, admissions, financial operations, and reimbursement
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining all appropriate records and files
    • Maintain nursing guidelines by writing, reviewing, and revising policies and procedures
    • Ensure resident care requirements are completed by ensuring adequate nursing staff coverage
    • Monitor resident satisfaction and manage quality including routine rounds and problem-solving
    • Coordinate the facility infection control program and serve as the Infection Preventionist
    • Develop and implement the Center's Wound Care and Antibiotic Stewardship program
    • Provide oversight for the maintenance of resident records ensuring proper documentation
    • Prevent, identify, investigate, and report suspected or actual abuse, neglect, exploitation, and improper use of chemical or physical restraints
    • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures
    • Participate in the weekend manager rotation

    Requirements:

    • Current RN license required
    • Bachelor's degree related to Health Care Administration or Business Administration preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years of progressive supervisory experience required
    • At least 3 years Long Term Care experience preferred
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel required
