    Job Description:

    • Stock patient care units with sterilized non-chargeable items.
    • Assemble reusable instrument sets and assist with the assembly of case carts.
    • Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize all reusable instrumentation.

    Requirements:

    • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
    • Experience: One year of experience in a related role within a MaineHealth facility or Sterile Processing Certification required. One year experience in sterile processing required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Central Sterile Processing Technician I role.
