Location: Portland, Maine
Job Description:
- Provide outstanding clinical care for a full complement of endocrine disorders and all forms of diabetes.
- Work with robust support from two nurse practitioners, five certified diabetes educators, a social worker, and three endocrinology nurses.
- Participate in the Tufts University School of Medicine and the Pediatric Residency program in both clinical and research arenas.
- Be a part of the medical staff at The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, a 116-bed tertiary care pediatric hospital within MaineHealth Maine Medical Center, providing comprehensive services including a PICU, NICU, dedicated pediatric section in the ED, and a 35-bed Inpatient Unit.
- Collaborate with affiliated programs such as the pediatric Weight and Wellness clinic, Muscular Dystrophy program, the Gender Clinic, Differences of Sex Development, and the Maine Children's Cancer Program.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Suitable for recent fellowship graduates seeking mentorship or more experienced physicians interested in a blend of clinical, academic, and administrative roles.
