Location: Wake Forest, North Carolina

KidsStreet Urgent Care is growing, and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team full-time! You will provide patient-focused care to help our patients feel better FAST! Services provided include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be able to lead a small team while working in a high-volume and fast-paced urgent care environment.

Job Description:

• Provide patient care across all ages: babies, kids, adults, and geriatric patients
• Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions: cold, flu, strep, COVID, and more
• Perform minor procedures: toenail removal, foreign object removal, suturing, splinting
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management
• Review x-rays (over-read by Radiologist)
• Practice general dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations
• Utilize emergency management skills and provide general GYN care
• Engage in occupational medicine and telemedicine services
• Lead and inspire a small team of medical assistants

Schedule:

KidsStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Rotating schedule includes every other weekend:

• Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON)
• Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF)

Requirements:

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!)
• Willingness to become DOT certified (cost covered)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred

Professional Development:
