Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Andalusia, Alabama

Job Description:

• Provide patient-focused care in a high volume, fast-paced urgent care environment
• Utilize full scope of practice, treating patients of all ages
• Perform minor procedures, suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations
• Review x-rays and manage general dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations
• Apply emergency management skills and general GYN expertise
• Provide occupational medicine and telemedicine services

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
• Lead a small team and serve as a professional role model

Schedule:

• MainStreet Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education required (New graduate friendly)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred
