Registered Nurse (RN)

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs). The RN promotes, restores, and maintains residents' health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates. The RN's primary role is to provide physical and psychosocial support to residents and families.

Compensation

• $40.00-$45.00 per hour + Shift differentials!

Job Description

• Develop relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident's physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote residents' independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident's condition, medication, and self-care skills.
• Monitor a resident's clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and act on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Work alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive holistic plan of care to meet the resident's clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team.
• Support residents' preferences, routines, and choices in the resident's electronic medical record.
• Ensure that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested by the Clinical Manager.

Requirements

• Must have an active RN license in the state they will practice and graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• A passion for caring for seniors.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• CPR certification required.
