Critical Care Physician

This is a need for multiple full-time critical care experienced doctors to help with at least a 6-month contract. Ideally, we need 7-on, 7-off coverage, but a 7-day block each month will be considered as well.

Job Description

• Provide critical care in designated COVID-19 ICUs
• Work 12-hour shifts, either 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Utilize provided PPE and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Manage the sickest patients in the metroplex as part of a safety net hospital
• Collaborate with three providers on each shift when the ICU is full
• Be comfortable running codes, performing a-lines, c-lines, vent maintenance, and intubation
• Open to both 7-on/7-off blocks or shift pickup as needed

Requirements

• Degree: MD/DO
• Certification: Will accept either Internal Medicine/Critical Care or Pulmonary Critical Care
• Substantial in-the-trenches ICU experience
