Clinical Psychologist
Location: Petoskey, Michigan
McLaren Northern Michigan is recruiting an experienced Clinical Psychologist in Petoskey, Michigan for an exciting new position. This position will be a combination of clinical services and academic teaching within McLaren Northern Family Medicine Rural Track residency. As a core faculty member, this position will be involved in residency guidance and teaching. A clinical appointment at Michigan State University Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine will be offered.
Job Description:
- Development and implementation of Behavioral Medicine curriculum for Family Medicine Residency following Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements.
- Provision of oversight for well-being programming for Graduate Medical Education.
- Performance of clinical duties which could include Consultation Liaison inpatient, Integrative Primary Care, Integrative Cancer Care, or Psychotherapy depending on site need.
- Assistance to resident physicians for scholarly inquiry projects (research and/or quality Improvement).
- Participation in system-wide Academic Behavioral Health activities, including teaching for Clinical Health Psychology Post Doctoral Fellowship and/or Internship.
Requirements:
- Two years experience in teaching in an ACGME residency program and completion of a Health Psychology post-doctoral fellowship are preferred.
- The selected candidate will require a license to practice Psychology in the state of Michigan.
