Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Near West Liberty, Kentucky

Position Details:

• 12-hour shifts, with options including:
  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM - 2:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required
• No on-call duties

Facility Highlights:

• Emergency Department (ED) Volume: Approximately 65,000 annual visits
• Specialty Backup: Comprehensive support, excluding Ophthalmology, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, and Hand Surgery
• New ED Facility: Opening soon with 75 exam rooms and a 10-bed overflow unit
• 24-Hour Cath Lab
• EMR System: Epic
• Additional Support: Scribes available for physicians

Requirements:

• Active Kentucky license and DEA required at the time of presentation
• ABEM certification required; residency in Emergency Medicine is mandatory
• Certifications: ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Must have a clean claims history and file
• Schedule Flexibility: Open to working days, nights, and weekends
