• Provide critical care for patients requiring inpatient gastroenterology services within a well-equipped hospital.

• Bid for shifts to create a schedule that aligns with your needs, with an average call-back duration of 4-6 hours.
• This position requires some weekend availability to ensure comprehensive patient care delivery.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including hospital staff specifically trained in GI procedures, to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize the familiar EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management.
• This locum tenens position offers a flexible assignment to cover a 6-month provider leave of absence.

Requirements:

• We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist who possesses a valid medical license in the state of Iowa (or an Interstate Medical License Compact IMLC license that is currently active in Iowa).
• Completion of a GI fellowship is mandatory.
