    Job Description:

    • Specialty: Internal Medicine - Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

    • Duration: Ongoing
    • Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours with additional call responsibilities
    • Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient work required

    • Call Ratio: 1:3 (in-house)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-level electrophysiology care, including patient consultations and follow-up
    • Manage and perform relevant cardiac procedures as required
    • Admissions and rounding responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings
    • Temporary hospital privileges available, with estimated credentialing time around 30 days

    Requirements:

    • Licensure: Active Missouri medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
    • Board Certification: Required in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
    • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
    • Supervision: May involve oversight of advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs)
    • Support Staff: Includes 1 RN, 1 Medical Assistant, and office support staff
