Psychologist

Immediate need for a Psychologist for a locums practice in Michigan. Coverage dates: ASAP-Ongoing. Schedules are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with four hours per week after 5 pm. Actual hours may be adjusted due to the needs of the consumer and the program. No weekends, no call. Outpatient coverage.

Job Description

• Responsible for psychological evaluations of people receiving services, including administration and interpretation of psychometric instruments while providing direct services to people served.
• Development of treatment goals and case service plans in accordance with Person-Centered Planning.
• Conduct thorough assessments, individual counseling, parent training, behavior modification plans, and crisis intervention.

Requirements

• At least 8 months of experience in the area of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• At least 1 year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families.
