Interventional Radiologist

Location: Westminster, Maryland

Job Description:

• Start Date: February 1, 2025
• Contract Length: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired
• Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Call rotation every 3rd or 4th week
  • Observed holidays included in coverage

Work Environment:

• Provide services across two acute care hospitals and an outpatient center
• Patient population includes all ages
• Bread-and-butter interventional radiology procedures with up to 25% diagnostic imaging in workflow
• Support from two additional interventional radiologists

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required
• Licenses & Certifications: Must hold an active state medical license, DEA, and CSR. Fellowship training is mandatory
• Experience: Must be competent in diagnostic imaging studies (MR, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine)
• References: Three references required (one MD and two peers)
• Other: Candidates must adhere to the tobacco- and nicotine-free policy

Additional Information:

• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days
• COVID-19 vaccine is required (no exemptions)
• Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)
