Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive urology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic visits, emergency department consults, and ambulatory care consults.
• Conduct general urology surgeries and office procedures, including TURP, TURBT, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, circumcision, vasectomy, and cystoscopy.
• Handle endoscopic techniques and ureteroscopy.
• Collaborate with internal urologists who handle more advanced cases.

Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 9-12 months with the potential for extension
• Schedule:
  • Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • OR Hours: 7:30 AM-3:30 PM
  • Call Coverage: 24-hour call on a rotating schedule (M/T, W/Th, F/S/S) with a 1:4 ratio.
• Location: Multiple sites in the area may require coverage flexibility.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Must hold a Georgia medical license or qualify for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Board Certification: Required (board-eligible candidates also considered).
• Comfortable managing a patient load of approximately 21 patients per shift.

Practice Highlights:

• Work within a supportive team, including RNs, MAs, and administrative staff.
• Credentialing timeframe: 21 days.
• EMR system: Epic.
• Temporary privileges available for a quicker start.
