Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgeon

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgeon in Washington.

Job Description

• Position Type: Locum Tenens
• Specialty: Physician Orthopedic Surgery
• Location: Washington
• Rate: Open & Negotiable (rate caps apply)
• Shift: 24-Hour On Call
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• End Date: Ongoing (6-9 months)
• Patient Population: Varies (0-7 patients/day)
• Setting: Hospital and Outpatient Clinic
• Responsibilities: ER coverage 24/7 for Level II Trauma; outpatient clinic coverage (three mornings per week, days not confirmed)
• Required Procedures: Full spectrum of orthopedic cases excluding complex pelvic cases
• EMR System: EPIC
• Support Staff: Dedicated PA support; hospital staff and MA in clinic
• Days Per Month: Up to 2 weeks per month
• On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call coverage required

Requirements

• Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
• Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
• WA State License (or IMLC with LOQ in hand)
• BLS and DEA (may obtain after offer acceptance)
