Join a stable 15-year-old program of 20 Hospitalists adding 2 Nocturnists to their team in the New Orleans metro area across Lake Pontchartrain. This resort community is located 40 miles from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and 1 hour to Baton Rouge. The teaching hospital works closely with Tulane, LSU, and Ochsner.

Job Description

• Block schedule: 7 on - 7 off
• 7 daytime teams and 2 nighttime teams
• 14 full-time and 6 part-time physicians, with plans to reach 18 FTE
• Open ICU with intensivists on staff
• 2 Nocturnists work together at night with an average of 12 total admits between the two doctors
• Average census is in the 130s
