Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN, LVN) at MEDIKO are responsible for the application and administration of nursing skills in a correctional center, including medication rounds, patient interviews and assessments, and other tasks assigned by the RN-Director of Nursing or Health Services Administrator.

Job Description

• Responsible for the application and administration of nursing skills in a correctional center
• Conduct medication rounds, patient interviews, and assessments
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the RN-Director of Nursing or Health Services Administrator

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered state/commonwealth Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Completion of an accredited nursing program leading to licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required prior to start date (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved)

Community Overview

Location: Athens Clarke County Jail

Shift/Schedule: 12-hour AM shifts (rotating 3/4 day weeks)

Pay Rate: Starting rates at $31 commensurate with experience
