Job Description

• Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care and comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
• Recording vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate.
• Providing routine individualized healthcare needs.
• Personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding, and other services.
• Follow facility procedures for admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Giving basic emotional and psychological support to the patient and family.
• Directly provide nursing or nursing-related service.
• Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of a State-approved STNA program.
• LTC or geriatric experience preferred.
• State Testing Nurse's Aide license in Ohio.
