MedRock Pharmacy is a fast-growing compounding pharmacy that focuses on the dermatology field. MedRock Pharmacy has recently opened a second location in Chattanooga.

Job Description

• MedRock Pharmacy is looking for a motivated individual who values teamwork, has strong work ethics, and is willing to learn, improve, and grow.
• The Pharmacy Technician will primarily do non-sterile compounding and/or data entry and perform all tasks and duties assigned.
• For the first 90 days, the technician will be required to work 2 Saturdays per month from 9 AM to 1 PM.
• Assists in maintaining logs, documents, and any required paperwork.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
• Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares RXs and compounds of quality, compliant with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Enter data into the computer system to fill prescriptions using "Life-File."
• Weighing, mixing, and packaging of medication, reviewing and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.

Requirements

• Experience in non-sterile compounding is preferred.
• 2 years of experience.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license.
• PTCB Certification (Required).

• Organized and responsible.
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Experience with LifeFile Processing System is preferred.

Compensation

• Hourly; $17.50 - $19.00 per hour.
