    Job Description:

    • Provide inpatient care in a 25-bed hospital with a 4-bed open ICU
    • Work shifts from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM onsite with unrestricted night call from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
    • Choose between a 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off schedule
    • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) onsite during peak hours
    • Handle an average inpatient census of 8-15 patients per day with 2-3 daily admissions
    • Utilize EMR: Meditech
    • Manage a variety of acute concerns ranging from mild to complex cases

    Requirements:

    • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (other specialties with Hospitalist experience considered)
    • Hold a North Dakota license and DEA without restrictions or have the ability to obtain them
    • Experience with thoracentesis, paracentesis (diagnostic and therapeutic), central line, ultrasound-guided PIV, ventilator management, and intubation preferred but not required, lumbar punctures
