Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description:

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, camera set-ups, acquisition parameters, and computer analysis of scan information.
• Assist the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor in maintaining Personnel dosimetry records, quarterly CRE reports, linearity reports, and other assigned duties.
• Maintain records of radiopharmaceutical receipt, distribution, and disposal according to State of Ohio and accrediting body standards; order radiopharmaceuticals and associated materials from appropriate suppliers.
• Respond to emergencies outside regularly scheduled work hours.
• Develop and demonstrate knowledge of current developments in the field to maintain competency in nuclear medicine procedures and related areas.

Requirements:

• State of Ohio license in Nuclear Medicine.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (N) registered and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board registered.
• Graduate of an approved school of nuclear medicine technology.
• Basic Life Saving certified.
• Obtain American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain continuous certification.

Shift:

• 1st and on-call hours.
