Find your calling at Mercy! The Charge Registered Nurse utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.

Job Description

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.
• Experience with patient populations with a varying range of diagnoses and care needs.
• Cross-train between various specialties to provide a strong foundational knowledge of all types of patient conditions, comorbidities, procedures, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years bedside related experience.
• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period. Must have ACLS and BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire.
