Mercyhealth System in Rockford, Illinois is currently seeking a Neurohospitalist to join our excellent team of collaborating physicians throughout the Rockford, Illinois region! Join a growing inpatient team dedicated to serving the needs of patients with acute neurological disease. We are a leading certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our Neurohospitalists are part of a robust team of neurosurgeons, interventional neurologists, intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and neurologists providing patients access to the latest in cutting-edge intracranial and endovascular therapy.

Job Description

• Range $420k-$525k
• HPSA - National Interest Waiver and H1b supported
• Build your individual practice as an employed physician with the support of operational leaders and support staff
• 4-4.5 days per week, flexible scheduling

Requirements

• MD/DO board certified/board eligible in Neurology
• Stroke fellowship training preferred
• Able to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Illinois
• Able to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
• BLS required
