    Nursing Position

    Join our team as a Nursing professional, where you will provide direct patient care and support to an assigned group of patients. This role requires a compassionate attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.

    Job Description

    • Administers medications within the scope of practice and the hospital's policies and procedures.
    • Assesses, evaluates, interprets, and documents the patient's physical and mental status.
    • Communicates the patient's status with other health care disciplines.
    • Coordinates and develops the patient's plan of care with all health care disciplines.
    • Performs and assists with medical and nursing procedures.
    • Provides pertinent health care education to patients and their families.
    • Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.

    Requirements

    • College Diploma in Nursing required.
    • Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
    • 2 years of nursing experience required.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse.
    • Certified in Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
    • ACLS certification for ED/ICU areas; BLS certification for Med Surg areas.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Thorough knowledge of a variety of medical equipment.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to administer medications per policy and procedure.
    • Ability to follow the National Patient Safety Goals.
    • Ability to interpret lab and diagnostic results as it relates to patient status.
    • Ability to communicate with all disciplines using SBAR.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Demonstrates courteous, kind, caring, compassionate, and positive attitude.

    Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members; and utilizing evidence-based practice.
