Senior Medical Claims Representative

Join our team as a Senior Medical Claims Representative in Lansing, Michigan. This position focuses on providing efficient investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of Michigan No-Fault claims.

Job Description

• Initiate timely and equitable responses to and control the disposition of all assigned Michigan No-Fault claims in a way that significantly affects the overall profit picture of the company while providing quality service to the insured and aiding in the retention of business.
• Work with computer systems keying functions, including but not limited to letter composition, log entry, diary entry, report of investigation composition, and draft productions.
• Maintain enhanced knowledge and ability to apply the policy of Michigan No-Fault acts as written.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration required.
• Minimum five years medical claims handling experience required.
• Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Designations in AIC, AINS, and/or other insurance-related designation required.

If a candidate is not identified, a Medical Claims Representative may be considered based on level of experience. This position has the availability of remote work from personal residence within the state of Michigan; however, there is a current expectation to work one day per week in the Farm Bureau Home Office located in Lansing, Michigan.
