• Work closely with patients in the comfort of their own homes
• Provide essential physical therapy services under the guidance of licensed physical therapists
• Help individuals regain their mobility and independence

Compensation:

• Starting at $50 per hour

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice as Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Associate degree in physical therapy
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Current CPR certification
• A licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order

Job Functions:

• Provide direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care
• Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance
• Direct and aid patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training
• Utilize physical agents, including, but not limited to heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage
