Pediatrician

Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a full-time Pediatrician in Alma, GA. This position is located in a 25-bed critical access hospital.

Job Description

• Seeking Pediatrician to work for a rural hospital setting.
• Some newborn nursery duties, call, and clinic work.
• Prefer applicants to have experience with newborn male circumcisions.
• Prefer applicants to have experience with lumbar puncture for spinal tap.
• Monday-Friday regular office hours, expected to see hospital patients on call.
• 50/50% call, with an FP/OB who splits the call.
• Delivers 180 babies per year total, with a lot of potential for growth.
• Average caseload goal is above 20, but currently about 8 per day.
• Patient population ranges from newborns to 18 years old.

Requirements

• Education: MD or DO
• License: Georgia
• Certifications: BE/BC, BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be active prior to start date)
• Accepts new graduates
