Emergency Medicine Faculty Physician
The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an Emergency Medicine Faculty Physician to join its Emergency Medicine Department in New York. The Mount Sinai Department of Emergency Medicine is one of the largest in the nation, staffing emergency medicine practice sites across the Mount Sinai Health System - including academic medical centers such as Mount Sinai Hospital, Mount Sinai Morningside, and Mount Sinai West - as well as community hospitals such as Mount Sinai Queens, Mount Sinai Brooklyn, and Mount Sinai South Nassau, and affiliated sites such as Elmhurst Hospital Center, Queens Hospital Center, and Richmond University Medical Center. We also staff free-standing clinical entities such as two urgent care centers and a virtual urgent care program. Our service line includes nearly 300 faculty physicians and more than 100 physician assistants, caring for over 500,000 patients each year.
Our academic medical centers are deeply engaged in education, research, and the care of complex cases, often serving as safety-net hospitals. Our community hospitals focus on high-quality, efficient care and serve as the primary healthcare resource for their surrounding communities.
Job Description
- Deliver high-quality emergency medicine care while contributing to excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Requirements
- MD/DO or equivalent terminal degree from an accredited university.
- Eligible or possess a New York Medical License.
- Board prepared or board certified in Emergency Medicine.
- Clinical experience is preferred (but not required) based on site and/or fellowship.
Compensation
Compensation ranges from 275K to 335K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits).

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits.
