    School Based Behavioral Health Provider

    Mountain Community Health Partnership is seeking a full-time School Based Behavioral Health Provider. The Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) is responsible for providing integrated behavioral health services to Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) patients; especially under-served, uninsured, under-insured, high-risk, and vulnerable patients.

    Job Description

    • Serve as a direct provider of behavioral health services, providing quality, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care for patients of MCHP.
    • Complete screenings and assessments, including diagnosis and mental status exams using appropriate clinical tools, clinical interviews, and other collateral information.
    • Support referrals and formulate treatment strategies.
    • Implement treatment plans with patients/students, working together to accomplish collaborative goals through frequent monitoring and face-to-face interactions.
    • Provide consultation services to families, schools, legal and judicial systems, physicians, and other community agencies to assist these resources in understanding the needs of the patients/students.
    • Participate in scheduled team meetings.
    • Work location will be hybrid (school setting and office setting) and will be based in Mitchell County, but willing to travel to other locations as needed.

    Requirements

    • Must have a valid and current LCSW/LPC licensure.
    • Two years of clinical experience.
    • Electronic Health Record experience.
    • Minimum of two years supervised employment, preferably in primary care.
    • Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work preferred.
    • Ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients preferred.
