    Charge Nurse

    We are seeking a highly skilled Charge Nurse to lead our nursing team with expertise in geriatrics and a passion for delivering top-notch patient care.     Job Description

    • Provide direct patient care, including catheterization, venipuncture, and cardiac catheterization procedures, as needed.
    • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, including patient triage, assignment, and management.
    • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate.
    • Utilize anatomy knowledge to administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
    • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, including HIPAA.
    • Provide exceptional patient education and support.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the unit manager.

    Requirements

    • Strong background in geriatrics and patient care.
    • Proficiency in venipuncture and catheterization procedures.
    • Experience in clinic settings.
    • In-depth knowledge of anatomy and vital signs.
    • Ability to triage patients and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Experience working with geriatric patients.
    • Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures.
    • Ability to administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
    • Knowledge of alimentary care and nutrition.
