Join our team as a Psychiatrist starting on October 1, 2023, for an approximately 10-month contract. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with the flexibility to accept a minimum of two weeks per month.

Job Description

• Provide care in a psychotic unit focusing on mood and anxiety disorders
• Work with support staff including psych techs, nurses, internists, and nurse practitioners
• Manage a patient load of approximately 15 patients per day
• Utilize Cerner EMR (experience preferred but not required)

Requirements

• Board certification: TBD
• Medical license required: Yes, MD
• DEA registration: Yes
• CSR registration: Yes
• Preferred certifications: Hospital experience
• Required certifications: AHA, BLS, MD CDS
• Minimum experience required: 2+ years of inpatient experience
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
