    OBGYN Partnership with Physician Owned Practice

    Join an established well-respected multispecialty group of 150+ clinicians (roughly 100 physicians and 50 APPs/other professionals) that has been caring for its residents for over 100 years. Physician owned and operated. Incoming physicians will be a pre-shareholder for the first 2 years, then they are invited to become shareholders. The shareholder contract is evergreen. Each shareholder owns 1 share; everyone is equal. Only an hour to Napa and a two-hour drive to the Lake Tahoe area takes you to the highest concentration of ski resorts in the country, with record-breaking annual snowfall and views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

    Job Description

    • The OBGYN Team is currently comprised of 2 physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers.
    • We are planning to add 3 physicians to the practice.
    • Call: 1:5 (utilizing OBGYN locums until fully staffed).
    • Laparoscopy, minimally invasive, hysterectomy skills required.
    • Willing to prescribe contraception.
    • Able to perform tubal ligation and insert IUDs.
    • Performing slings for mid-urethral incontinence (TVT/TOT) a plus.
    • Preferably ultrasound viability scan experience (not anatomy scan).
    • 50% Obstetrics / 50% Gynecology.
    • Average 20-25 patients per day.
    • High Risk pregnancies, have access to MFM in Sacramento.
    • High Risk are transferred to a higher acuity center at 35 weeks.
    • Oncology and Uro-gynecology are referred out.
    • Cerner EMR.
    • APPs take second call for C-Sections, but do not assist with GYN surgeries.
    • Diverse patient population / agriculture to college professors.
    • Additional language skills a plus: Spanish, Punjabi, Farsi, Mandarin.
    • Patients admitted to Woodland Memorial Hospital.
    • Group has a Hospitalist team who manage inpatient care for regular admissions.
