Application Analyst

Provides proactive management of complex applications in a highly integrated environment. In addition to performing day-to-day application support responsibilities, this position serves a consultative role for customers, working with end-users to design efficient workflows that make the most of available automation. The Application Analyst is responsible for running customer-facing Change Advisory Boards and for maintaining customer engagement.

Requirements

• 5 years working with computers and computer programs.
• 2 years experience in a healthcare facility or with a healthcare system.
• In-depth knowledge of Cerner Revenue Cycle/CPM/Java Scheduling and Registration solutions, including design and implementation based on current or future needs.
• Preferred experience with Cerner Referral Solutions and various Cerner reporting solutions such as DA2 and Reporting Portal.
• High level of skill with a PC and familiarity with Windows Operating Systems.
• Expert in Microsoft Office software tools.
• Working understanding of general database principles and how data is stored.
• Working understanding of general networking principles and web-based systems.

Education

• Required: High School or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
