Clinical Dietitian - Part-Time - 64 hours/pp

Clinical Dietitian

Under the direct supervision of the Coordinator, Clinical Nutrition, the Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy for patients to help achieve adequate nutritional status. This may include, but is not limited to, nutritional assessments to determine the need for nutritional supplements or nutrition support and nutrition education to help achieve lifestyle changes and diet modifications. The Dietitian is also accountable for completing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Description

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for patients to help achieve adequate nutritional status
• Conduct nutritional assessments to determine the need for nutritional supplements or nutrition support
• Offer nutrition education to help achieve lifestyle changes and diet modifications
• Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Prefer 2-3 years experience in hospital medical nutrition therapy and/or outpatient medical nutrition therapy
• Required: Dietitian - State of Missouri
• Required: Masters in Dietetics or Masters in Nutrition
