As part of our 40-bed unit, you’ll provide care for patients with diverse and complex needs, including those with stroke, neuro, trauma, ventilator dependency, and pediatric cases. Our CNAs work closely with the RNs, trauma physicians, and specialists to deliver top-quality patient care. Job Description

• Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, RN, LPN, you will play a vital role in the care of patients by performing basic nursing care and support tasks on assigned units.
• Provide patient care such as ambulation, bathing, toileting, obtaining vital signs, all while maintaining a safe environment.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to RN, LPN, and other members of the team in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information.

Requirements

• Hospital experience - Preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) - Required
• High School or Equivalent - Preferred
