Responsibilities

<ul>
	<li style="text-align:justify">Under the direction of the department Director &amp; Patient Care Supervisor to assist with the care of patients being seen in the Cancer Center by performing nursing care; including vital signs, weights and measurements, documentation in the electronic health record, collaborating with nursing and interdisciplinary team members, interacting with patients and family, and managing necessary clinic inventory.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="text-align:justify">Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to RN, LPN and other members of the team in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>

&nbsp;

<ul>
	<li style="text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px">Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information.</li>
</ul>

&nbsp;

Experience:&nbsp;Hospital experience-Preferred,&nbsp;Phlebotomy-Preferred (training available) 
 
License/Certification/Education:

<ul>
	<li style="text-align:justify">BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)-Required</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify; margin-bottom:11px">High School or Equivalent-Preferred</li>
