The Director of Physician Relations serves as a pivotal leader responsible for fostering positive relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers. The role functions as a bridge between the organization's operational leadership and its network of affiliated and employed physicians, ensuring that business objectives are aligned with clinical excellence and provider satisfaction. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, exceptional interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, and a commitment to building a collaborative, high-performing cultural environment. The Director of Physician Relations works closely with legal counsel, credentialing teams, finance, and clinical leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in physician relations, contract management, or healthcare administration, preferably in a medical group setting
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, provider contracting, and compliance requirements
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; Preferred: Master's degree in Business or Healthcare-related field
