Laboratory Services Technician

Under the supervision of a clinical supervisor, provides laboratory services by performing laboratory testing of any level (high, moderate, or low complexity) as well as waived tests. Assumes responsibility for all stages of laboratory service (pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical) as well as instruction of laboratory medicine.

Requirements

• Required: CLS(NCA) (Clinical Laboratory Scientist - National Credentialing Agency)
• Required: MT(ASCP) (Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology)
• Required: MT-AMT (Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologist)
• Required: MLS(ASCP) (Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology)
• Required: Bachelors in Chemistry, Bachelors in Clinical Laboratory, or Bachelors in Medical Technology.
