Oncology Nurse

Under the direction of the cancer center administrator or nurse leader, provide patients and caregivers a cohesive understanding of the complex cancer care continuum. Gathers all necessary information prior to a patient appointment with the medical oncologist to ensure timely access to high-quality medical care.

• Gather all necessary information prior to a patient appointment with the medical oncologist to ensure timely access to high-quality medical care.

Requirements

• Two years of oncology nursing experience (Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, or Surgical Oncology).
• Chemotherapy experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and exceptional customer service skills.
• Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association).
• Required: Associates degree in Nursing, Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
