GI Technician

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, GI techs, and CNAs, working seamlessly with anesthesia and GI services to deliver exceptional care. You'll play a vital role in ensuring top-tier care for both inpatient and outpatient populations. Assisting with advanced GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, manometry, Fibro Scan, PillCam, Bravo, and HALO. Additionally, you'll provide pre-operative and post-operative recovery care, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort. Rotating through all areas of GI will offer you a diverse and stimulating work environment. Job Description

• Transports patients to and from the GI Lab
• Assists with maintaining the appearance of the department

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age and completed 10th grade
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions
• Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
