Traveling Physician - Senior Living Communities
This position involves traveling around the country in all the states you are licensed in. Travel is required at least 2 full weeks out of the month.
Job Description
- Provide clinical care in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, independent living, and memory care facilities.
- Travel to multiple facilities for medical coverage and oversight.
- Serve as interim Medical Director.
- Build relationships with facility staff and administrators.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to address patient care needs.
- Complete documentation and billing for services.
- Respond to daytime calls from facilities.
- Manage new patient admissions.
- Assist with the transition to permanent providers.
- Represent the organization professionally.
Requirements
- Must have licenses in at least 5 of the following states: CA, NV, OR, ID, AZ, NM, CO, TX, OK, KS, MN, IA, MO, AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, TN, KY, IL, WI, IN, MI, OH, WV, SC, NC, VA, PA, NY, MA.
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine.
- Licensure in multiple states.
- Easy access to a major airport.
- Proficiency with EMR.
