Job Description:
- Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
- Participate in an environment that fosters teamwork, team member engagement, and community involvement.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- NH Medical Center: Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility: Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
- Hospital Outpatient Department: Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
- IV Credentialed, required.
- Applicable state license, required.
- Additional skills required: Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, analytical ability, and basic computer skills. Ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age-specific needs. Good communication skills.
