    MRI Technologist I

    This MRI Tech position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $5,000. This position is full-time with benefits, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm, rotating call. The MR Technologist I will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.     • Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures
    • Prepare patients and safely operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans

    Requirements

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 2 Year/Associate Degree preferred; Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required
    • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR preferred
    • Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire; NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR); IV Credentialed; applicable state license
    • Additional Skills: Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment; analytical ability and basic computer skills; ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to age-specific needs; good communication skills
