    Job Description:

    • Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

    Requirements:

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
    • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
    • Licensure/Certification:
      • NH Medical Center: Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
      • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility: Certified and registered within 6 months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
      • Hospital Outpatient Department: Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
      • IV Credentialed, required.
      • Applicable state license, required.

    Additional Skills:

    • Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment.
    • Analytical ability and basic computer skills.
    • Ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to their age-specific needs.
    • Good communication skills.
