Job Title: MD/DO Physician

Job Description:

• Conduct clinical assessments for veterans
• No evenings, no call, no prescribing, low patient volume
• Choose when you want to work

Mission:

Benefits:

• Flexible schedule: work 0.1-5 days per week, or just 1 day every few months
• Earn $120-$900 per veteran assessment, averaging $130-200/hr after documentation
• Typically see only 4-10 veterans a day
• Option to work from your own office or a location of your choice

About the Physician Role:

• Perform disability assessments on Veterans for the VA
• Review medical records, conduct detailed history, and document findings
• Non-prescribing, non-treating, low liability role
• Veterans appreciate the care provided more than average patients
• Comprehensive training provided

Ideal Physician:

• Investigative nature to understand veteran claims and collect evidence
• Focused on one patient at a time rather than multitasking with many
• Capable of completing complex documentation

Background:

• Open to any type of physician: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Health, Geriatrician, Hospitalist, etc.
• BE/BC preferred, not required
