A thriving Big Texas healthcare system is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon outside of Dallas in Texarkana, TX; 3 hours from Dallas and 2 hours from Little Rock, AR.

Job Description

• Openings are to replace two surgeons who have cut back and will likely retire in the next year. The practice consists of 6 surgeons total, including these two.
• Three of the surgeons are busy, and the other is in his first year getting busier month by month.
• Leadership is committed to being a 1:6 call group.
• Looking for someone who is happy doing general orthopedic surgery, but the busier of the two doctors that are slowing down subspecialized in knees and hips.

Requirements

• Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license
• Orthopedic Surgeon
• H1B visa accepted

Benefits

• 12-month guarantee of $641,444, sign-on up to $50,000, and call pay of $1,700 for each 24-hour shift. They do about 6-7 call shifts per month, putting the guarantee + call amount at $763,844+.
