Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

Job Title

Join our dynamic team in a hospital-based practice setting. We are seeking coverage due to a vacancy in the position.

Job Description

• Dates of coverage will start late October/early November and continue until February/March 2026.
• Patient population is 100% adult, with 40% trauma cases.
• Inpatient care is 100%, with an average census in the Neuro ICU of 10 patients and an average of 5 neurosurgery consults per night.
• No other neurologists will be present during the locum's assignment; however, there are 2 neuro intensivists in the group who will be available by phone at night.
• There are 3 advanced practice providers in the group.
• Lab and X-ray services are onsite.
• The documentation system/EMR used is Epic.
• The facility is designated as a level 1 trauma center with comprehensive stroke capabilities.
