    Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP)

    Ashtabula is a charming city positioned conveniently between Cleveland, Ohio, and Erie, Pennsylvania. ARMC is a 186-bed, fully accredited community hospital affiliated with Cleveland Clinic. ARMC serves a population of approximately 98,000 and offers a wide range of services, including a new 115,000-square-foot patient care tower slated to open in 2024.

    Job Description

    • Provide both inpatient and outpatient care in a Hematology/Oncology setting
    • Manage an average of 15-20 outpatient visits per day, with 3-5 hospital patients per day
    • Collaborate with two physicians in practice and a team of medical professionals
    • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage patient care for a 50/50 mix of adult and geriatric patients
    • Focus on 25% Hematology and 75% Oncology care
    • Participate in on-call duties for 10 days per month
    • Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management

    Requirements

    • 1+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a Hematology/Oncology-specific clinic or hospital setting (excluding RN, training, or general practice/IM/FM experience)
    • Must be willing to work in-person (telemedicine is not an option)
    • Must live within 40 miles of Ashtabula or be willing to relocate
    • Not accepting Locum candidates
